Did your mom ever give you tasks during commercials?
FLASHBACK - Sunday night Disney movies with commercials. My mom was the queen of commercial-cleaning. As soon as a commercial began, she would call out a task - put dishes away, grab the laundry out of the dryer, put your PJs on, brush your teeth. By the end of the movie, we were ready for bed and the Sunday chores were done.
I woke up today knowing that it was a cleaning day and not super happy about it. I fixed my breakfast and reorganized the cereal cupboard, wiping out the arrowroot powder that had spilled two months ago. Just keeping it real. Then I sat down on the couch with my man and realized how tired I was. "Wanna watch a show?" I asked, knowing it's his happy place. "And then I'll clean the bathroom." Deal! The great thing about Netflix is the commercials can be as long as it takes to clean the bathroom. LOL! Another show and I vacuumed the floors. After the next show, I mopped the floors. It's noon and my house is clean!
